Last days of a thistle

Bit of an emergency blip. I had tried to capture a 2-spot ladybird, one of those really tiny ones that are black and shiny with 2 bright red spots. Every time I got close with the camera, it started running up and down the arm of the bench I was sitting on, and eventually I realised it had something in its jaws which it must have been trying to protect from me! I had loads of shots, but when I looked at them, none was worth blipping. So I blipped this thistle head instead.
