Pot Plants

... a bit different than we would normally imagine - I mean - a WHOLE palm tree in a pot??!! Looks ok though and this was what I saw as I walked to the office to sign the paper to have my work permit cancelled. The view is the pool deck for the apartments in Al Ghurair City - Dubai's very first shopping MALL built in 1978; it has an office block too. It's been totally renovated now and looks really good methinks.

A quiet day just getting ready for G to come back. I finally dealt with the clothes I took out of my wardrobe. I do have a pile to go... mainly trousers that er don't fit anymore. Shocking to see how small I was once. Argh!

And that was the 2nd of September... without the bad bits! :)
