textures of life

we spent the week end with a bunch of hill-nuts at Giggleswick School. we walked over Whernside with the string of 3 peakers and l took some fab pics of trains on the viaduct and of the school itself which has some lovely buildings and an opportunity to stand on Everest (which l did not do). this week l also watched a programme about fighting ageing but the crags on this branch make it interesting - just as the crags on faces make them interesting - and there were tales told this weekend!!
