Gypsy Moth Caterpillar

It's that time of year again, when the Gypsy moths start munching on the leaves of many of the trees, such as the maple. Some years they are more destructive than others.
This year I have not seen too many. This one, landed on my car window from a tree branch hanging over.
I am always intrigued by the metamorphosis that takes place! Soon they will be fluttering about, driving us crazy!
