Monday holiday = lazy day. Went to the pictures again: Mortal instruments today. Not bad - if you liked the books, as I did, you'll enjoy it although they need to move the story along a lot faster on film which makes for some unfamiliar plot developments.

Saw Blue Jasmine yesterday. My third exception to my "no Woody Allen films" prohibition. Would probably have been better if I had stopped at two exceptions. Cate Blanchett was astonishingly good but the movie was depressing. You know how it goes: K likes art-house films, while I yearn for action flicks, but "happy wife, happy life" even if her choices require mr to undergo therapy.
