Nature & Art the centre of life

The Russian XXI Sculpture exhibition has its final week now and I wanted to see & picture it once more.
This swine-head is like a hunting trophy and part of a life-sized large piece called 'Hunting Trophies' that is realized by the artist Nikolai Polissky in coöperation with the locals from the village Nikola-Lenivets.
By realising community work for arts the sculptor Polissky not only gives the farmers and locals a new purpose in their lives but also realizes his ideal that 'Nature & Art are at the Centre of Life'

The woodcarved 'Hunting Trophies' made me almost feel like walking amidst the life stock, rather than amidst dead wood that is worked upon...
