Winking Eye Bridge

Here's the splendid Gateshead Millennium Bridge that spans the Tyne in Newcastle.
It's a beautiful bridge in a magnificent city now rebranded as Newcastle Gateshead.
It's truly inspirational to see a council have the ambition shown here, with the beautiful Sage building and the Baltic where this picture was taken from making the riverside area a fantastic destination.
The bridge is much loved and photographed and the confidence and business that brings to the city is enormous.
Pictures are being continuously taken and sent throughout the world, promoting the area in a way that the council can only have dreamed about.
I'd never visited Newcastle before but can highly recommend a visit and I can't wait to return.
