Potted Palms

Yesterday, GadgetKid, blipped potted palm trees in Dubai, and today(!) as I was out and about in town down by the ferry piers, I spotted these!!! I have been down that way SO many times, and never noticed them, until today, so thank you sis. These ones are not as big as the ones you took, but I was surprised to see these here too. Why in the world would anyone plant palm trees, seems so wrong.

Well the scary thing I had to do today was have an MRI. I had to have a follow up MRI to determine if my injury from last year is any worse. I will know on Monday when I see the neuro surgeon/spinal specialist what the situation is but I'm afraid I know what his recommendation will be. Anyway, it's done and I survived my second MRI. Thank goodness I'm not claustrophobic but it really is a very small space. I have to admit I did fall asleep despite the loud noises!

Back to DB to cook dinner for four teen boys; our two and Elizabeth's boys. I stuffed them till they couldn't move and they're coming back for more tomorrow ... and the day after, till Elizabeth and Roberto get back.

Glad that MRI is done, I wasn't looking forward to it.
