GAZANIAS

These richly coloured flowers unfurl their petals fully at mid-day and by 4 in the afternoon they are beginning to close. I took a few shots of the blooms at 11 with partly curled petals. At 1 o'clock there was an irritating little wind moving the flowers but I tried to get a few shots in between gusts of wind. In the end I chose this shot because I preferred the slightly blurred image...liked the painterly quality.
