Peter Pan

Drove up to Kirriemuir this afternoon as there is a wee jewellers workshop there and I had broken the clasp on my gold bangle. Come back in 20 mins he said, so we had a walk around, was a bit surprised how many shops & hotels are closed down now, a sign of the times I guess.

Kirriemuir is such a small place and a gateway to The Glens, most famous for being the birthplace of J.M. Barrie, the author of Peter Pan.

It is also the birthplace of Bon Scott, lead singer of AC/DC until he died in 1980, the town are fundraising for a Bon Scott Statue also.
