'QUIET,' she says. 'Do you hear something in the front hall?' And like a total numpty, I turn round to look. I've just got time to think 'In the hall? I don't hear - ' when all of a sudden she's smacking me on the head with something. Something very hard, and very heavy. After the shock, it hurts like a bastard. And at the same time, I want to laugh, 'cause she has so totally got me wrong, and it was such a corny old trick, like something out of a crappy old movie. She's hitting me with one of her textbooks! I've had enough of this. All of a sudden, I knock it out of her hands and grab hold of her. I'm right in her face, shouting, yelling my head off. 'You asked me back here! You rip off all my stuff! You keep all your gear to yourself! And then you've got the nerve to act all out-
