How do you make a Turk's Turban Squash?

I've been finding out today, working on the armature of withies that will form the basis. We carefully checked that it will go out through the door before going too far! As it is, the small blob on top is being made separately and the two bits will be united in the Market Hall when they're hung for this year's Food Festival. Top right is the designer and supremo of the workshops, Bettina Reeves' artist's impression of what it should look like! There's a way to go!
Cathaber has also blipped something to do with the decoration workshops here, but I haven't yet seen what it is!!
