Berwick Town Walls

Had a magnificent walk around the Berwick Town Walls today, and the weather was brilliant; sun splitting the sky!

Not sure what the story is here, but the town is scattered with these traditional Berwick serpent seats, which are apparently a particular feature of the townscape.
