Playing with long exposures since I now can control the shutter to my heart's content. I love how the light rays are doubled.

Trip update: the Mrs and I went to church this morning at Grace Church in Morton, IL. I was impressed at how welcomed we were - not something that always happens when you visit a new church for the first time.

I also got to go dove hunting with my dad for the opening day of dove season. I came home sporting a 100% accuracy with one shot and one bird to show for it! Not a lot of birds flying around. I also got a nice sunburn. Good times.

My mother is holding a family and friends open house for the Mrs and I tomorrow to celebrate our marriage ( for those who couldn't come to the wedding in New Zealand) and give everyone a chance to see us while we are back in the states. Spending the night getting everything ready!
