In the Dog House!

HF: I fancy a quick spin on the bike after tea.

Mr HF: I'll come with you, where do you want to go?

HF: I'm tired so not too far, 10 miles max.

16 miles later and almost in the dark we arrive back home. Worse still, I missed the first 10 minutes of GB Bake Off and am now having to catch up.
He is only forgiven because I've burned 363 calories!!!
