a long long long long day

Up at four this morning it was pitch black taxi driver could not see me nor I him!! Managed to get from Birmingham to the conference in darmstadt by half ten not bad going - unfortunately when I got there i found the title of my talk had been given as "to be confirmed later" that's really going to bring the crowds in!! Sampled the local delicacy at lunch of sour lentils - not the best sorry but a day of broadening my horizons and stimulating the mind which it did - have loads of ideas for new experiments now - just waiting for plane back
