It's been a while - last time I blipped was 11th July - no real excuses, I've now put up a few back-blips.

News from the Shanks household:

Longershanks is engaged, wedding to be in Uganda next year.
Youngshanks has got a job.
Meya's at Chester Uni for a year.
I took advantage of a £70 photo book offer for £20 and 2011 A Birding Year made it to print.
The patio stalled due to the summer heat.
