Low tide

At lunchtime the BBC website had an article about a stranded whale in the waters off Silverknowes. I thought I may still catch a glimpse of it on my way home, but it looked like it was gone. I'm afraid it was subsequently reported to have died from its injuries.

When I first saw this couple they looked like they were walking on the water. I prefer this shot of them trying a holiday self-ie.
