Virginia

We headed to Washington DC today and checked into the Sheraton getting ready for back to work. They were good enough to give me a lovely big suite overlooking the Pentagon and all the DC sites. A nice place to relax for the evening and we went to see The Worlds End, which is a fantastic film if you haven't seen it.
On the way we stopped for some wine tasting (and buying) and I met this chap. He is a photographer and was selling signed copies of his books. We had a long chat about cameras (digital or film) and photography as a hobby. He said he didn't get into it until late in life and had a brain tumour a few years ago which inspired him to do his book (a lovely collection of images of the Blue Ridge area of Virginia). He is originally from Pennsylvania but will count as my Virginia image as I try to collect more portraits from America.
