Fairy Tree

This hawthorn or fairy tree was adorned with hundreds of offerings, I added my own ribbon and made a wish! The tree is on Ireland's most sacred site The Hill of Tara. I spent an enjoyable morning wandering around holy wells, The Mound of the Hostages, The kings Seat, The Rath of Grainne and The Stone of Destiny.
A very different afternoon in Ikea doing a bit of shopping for Rachel's move tomorrow!
