The bit of Lincolnshire coast bordering The Wash is an airforce firing range. I was actually looking for some isolated dilapidated buildings. Instead low flying jets would pass by firing cannon at targets on the marshy shoreline, then wheel into the sky with a loop the loop, and come round again for another shot.

Quite fantastic, my little camera would not focus fast enough to get a passing plane. But the notices and red flag tell their story.
