As if we hadn't done enough gallivanting on Monday we went off to meet our friend from France who was on a flying visit before she comes back for a longer time in October.

The first time I'd been allowed in a pub since before the op. I enjoyed it. As Goatee Booknerd commented recently, there aren't many places in London where you can get a pint so cheap as at a Wetherspoons. And there's a nice selection of beers you won't get elsewhere.

And I love being able to hear what people say!

The rest of the day was spent sorting out the demolition works for the biggish project we've got starting in October. Easily the trickiest part of the job.
