First Day

Today was C's first day at Primary School - am not sure it went too well!

We were late! Entirely our fault! School normally starts at 0845. We had completely missed that for this week, the Year R children are starting at 0830!!!

His actual day (morning) at school was fine. He played nicely at a friends house this afternoon, then it all went wrong. H and C have their swimming lessons on a Wed pm and he was so naughty that the swimming teacher took him out of the water and made him sit on the side and threatened to throw him out the class altogether - not good for Mummy's nerves. He gets home and then refuses to go to bed and ...... well, what happened next does not warrant repeating, safe to say, it has left us wondering what we have done wrong!!!!

Are we the only ones? Or is this normal behaviour for 4 year olds. I don't think he is worried about school. He is with all his little mates and is only 2 physical classrooms up from where his pre-school was! Wits end is nearly achieved!
