Painting

I mentioned the other day that Ann was painting the front door, along with the sills and entry gate. Today she put the top coat on and here’s the evidence to prove it.

It looks really nice in a contemporary shade of green.

In other news we went to Nero this afternoon and I made roasted sweet potato and butternut squash soup for tea, with plenty left over for another day.
