Really too much awesomeness to choose from - serious brilliance at the very first Environmental Art Festival Scotland.

This is Sporopollen at Clatteringshaws Dam in the Galloway Forest Park. A truly unique experience on a stunning day - more about it here.

Then down the road a bit to the Grey Mare's Tail , a climb up to Murray's Monument & a chat to the Archivist about George Wyllie. This was followed by a fascinating evening with the Astronomer Royal of Scotland. Who does magic tricks.

I drove back to Dumfries whilst others enjoyed the dark sky watching, music, lights & climbing up hills at night.



Ok, so the day started badly - a little incident with the hire car in an underground car park....moving swiftly on.
