End of the day

As if Dad didn't have enough to worry about I headed off on the bike this morning for a sanity preserving spin, the drivers of Merseyside kept me on my toes and ensured I couldn't let my mind drift to Mum's predicament. 15 miles later and I felt a lot better, so did Dad when I got back in one piece.

After that it was a day of wading through paperwork and two visits to Mum in the hospital where she continues to be her usual upbeat and serene self. She knows exactly what is happening and that the news on Thursday isn't going to be easy to take but remains calm and in good humour.

Finished the day off with a swifty and a natter with Dad in "The Comm".
