Up early and off to the first 6.30am Pilates class for a while, they have just restarted. Lots of other crazies there too!
Awoke to a lovely message from my aunt, she had seen last night’s blip. It was really special and highlighted yet again, why blip is so amazing, and what memories it brings for me, and others around me.
And then work, thoroughly confused as to what day of the week it was. Apparently only one day to go before the weekend.
Booked my fares up to Auckland, the funeral is on Saturday. Then received another message from Robyn, could I call? Stunned to be asked to do a reading at the funeral. Firstly honoured, and then nervous. At best I am an emotional wreck at anything, well, emotional. The speaking isn’t the problem, well used to that. And no doubt there will be lots of people there. And I mean lots, Bill was well known and loved. That’s in a blokey sort of love way, if you know what I mean.
But she gave me some good advice, toughen up! Of course ;-)
Oh, my annual daffodil shot. Probably fitting today, thinking about life and all …
We’re in full on spring mode. The warm weather (of winter) has gone, We’ve got wind, rain, snow, interspersed with sun. And apparently a weather bomb of sorts next week. Yep, that’s spring for you.
