Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

It rained...and rained.....and rained.

But eventually we had to go out to get some fresh air. Down the road, around the corner, under the underpass....past the drunks......out by the fountain, across the gardens .....to check what the soldiers guarding the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier wear when it rains!

It seems they stand in their little shelters so wear exactly the same as normal!

Policemen though wear shower caps over the top bit of their big hats - I must try and get a shot!
