A misty start

It was a misty start to the day. Took the dogs for their early morning run, the mist this morning was very atmospheric and as the sun forced its way through the pea soup to burn off the mist the colours were wonderful. It never fails to amaze me about what people dont see!!! Folks out there walking their dogs complaining about how miserable it was.... the colours were wonderful. One walker asked me what I was taking a photo of and what I could see, at the time I was taking a shot of the sun which was bright red and was giving the mist a gorgeous lilac shimmer. I pointed at the sun..... why couldnt she see it!!!!!??????
In the end this shot won out, felt it had more atmosphere.
