Birthday boy!

The kiddos went to one of their little friend's birthday parties and I'm told they had a wonderful time (I had to work :( ). I did have a bite of the cake, though, (before the dog so rudely scoffed it off the table) and it was delicious! The Mr. got this shot of the birthday boy on his special day. Happy 2 years Issac!

Chickpea has had quite a few quotable quotes lately. Well, she probably always does but I forget to write them down. Here are some I remembered from today, though.

This morning, looking out the window:
C- It's supposed to be sunny this morning but it's not.
Me- Who said it's supposed to be sunny?
C- Me.

This evening watching a nature documentary. I explained it was about trying to help save the woodland and the animals that live in it.
C- (As an adder comes up on the screen) I don't want to fix the snake!
