Something closer to home

Well I think a break from lunar shots was needed so today I decided to use the same camera and lens set up but for something a few million miles closer.
In fact this butterfly was about 11 feet away ! A bit of a difference from the moon !

By the way getting up at 5.30 am East Coast time to listen to the cricket on the Internet can lead to a painful day. Australia posting a good score and then England having a collapse.
I guess the cricket will be over by about 9.00 am my time tomorrow so if the weather is nice might take a trip to look at the Clydesdales which i've been meaning to do but bad weather and the moon seems to keep interfering.
