'Look for signs that summer's done....'

At 6.45 am it was a real misty moisty morning, then the sun came out big time and it has been so hot and close all day!

The horses are back in the field by school too and are enjoying the new grass after the hay making earlier in the summer. They seem to be enjoying the space and were quite frisky when I went by this morning. Today I noticed the trees lining the road are laden with sweet chestnuts. Beautiful spiky green balls!

The sun had set by 7.45 tonight. The light evenings will be muchly missed!
