Last Day of Summer

Was today the last day of summer? Was very hot indeed here and the forecast is for much cooler weather and rain next few days. I was excited to notice that one of my or orchids is about to flower for the third time, the buds have been getting gradually bigger over the last couple of days and now one of them looks as though it will open very soon . Even if the sun doesn't shine I'll have some colour to brighten up the house.
