Retirement test plan day seven

Speyside Cooperage. Passed this place on our way back to Deeside so stopped off and did the tour. It was fascinating, the final part of the tour was the viewing gallery over the workshop where we were able to see the skills of the men as they repaired casks. We also learned that the Jack Daniels casks used by the whisky distilleries come flat packed and are reassembled here (see piles of wood on right of photo).
