What would be the term for a collection of glasses? A 'spectacle' perhaps ?

'Spares' - just in case...

Next time I visit the optician and bring home new glasses - I must get rid of at least some of the old ones!

Do others keep hold of items 'just in case'?

And if so... What do you hang on to 'just in case'
