Stalking seagulls.

A brighter day today. Visited Torre Abbey which houses a fair sized collection of artworks. As an artist myself I found the different techniques very interesting and love the dramatic lighting in paintings from the 1800s.
One painter in particular (have made a note of his name somewhere) used cobalt blue mixed with his greens and greys which really seemed to tie all the colours together somehow.

Then visited Cockington where unfortunately most of the crafts people trading there seemed to be out at lunch, including the glass blowers and carpenters.

Finally a walk along the seafront, trying to get close to some seagulls. They weren't impressed.
