At home: Do Cows see a sunset?

Cows are in actual fact red-green colour blind. So the chances are, that they never see all of natures beautiful colours around them.

They never see the warm glow of a sunset. Or the bright lushness of green beneath their feet. I suppose that is why they have huge wet noses. Possibly super trained to sniff out the sweetest grass, and a warm dewy morning.

Cows are naturally fearful creatures. The bull ring is not centred around red for the bulls benefit. That's purely for marketing excitement and fear. The bull moves towards a flapping flag, much like he might a running pedestrian in his field. They don't intend to be unsafe, its just that by see things different from humans.

Prey Animals, such as cows are naturally inquisitive. Flight or fight, its sniffing out trouble in the first place that gets them into being pushy. These cows gave Tiger our cat, a quizzical snort. He can see more colours than the cow. Its humans that get the best view of a sunset. Or at least we think we do.....x
