Bank of Mum'n'Dad

It's that time of year again. Proud mum's and dad's preparing their offspring for another year of studious toil and frugal living.

Sometimes I wonder who is doing all the toiling and frugal living.

Never mind. I'm sure it will all be worth it in the end.

I'm sure they will go on to have fine, worthwhile (and lucrative) careers.

I'm sure they will remember the sacrifices their parents made to give them a good start.

They wouldn't dream of leaving their poor old parents to a life of poverty in their old age.

Would they?

I wonder if they know that they are the pension plan.

It's either them or win the lottery or ...jump!
