Tiny Bubbles

The idea for this shot just came to me while I was driving, and then I thought about it for a day or so, and figured out how I might be able to do it. Today, I gave it a try and I am happy to report...it was a success.

The bubbles are actually olive oil and water on a piece of glass, with a bounced flash underneath to illuminate. I shot it with a 50mm macro and wished I had a 100mm available. A little cropping and some Lightroom adjustments, and this is the end product.
