It's about time

I got up early enough for a sunrise and this morning was it. I was not disappointed either. The waves were large and breaking close to shore with an incoming high tide and sounded like whips cracking. There were so many surfers out it was almost standing room only. The day that followed saw temperatures up to 26C but it was already 18C when I left home at 5.15am. I even got my feet wet and the water was very bearable. All signs that Summer is quickly on the way.
