A Monument to Vimto by Kerry Morrison
I walk past this statute every time I go to Manchester for meetings and hadn't realised it marks the site where Vimto was created - 49 Granby Row. For those who have no idea what I'm going on about, Vimto is a soft drink which is still produced today. The statue depicts a bottle of Vimto surrounded by the fruit and spices used to create it. It's made of oak.
I had hoped to take a shot of one of the old red brick buildings Manchester is famed for, but the wet weather mean't just a quick shot as I went on my way back to the railway station.
