Playtime Over ...

The rope swing sits motionless above the calm, quiet water.....

As of today all the local schoolkids are back at school - the Summer holidays are over and Park Lime Pits is once again a haven of peace. Even the local anglers, most of whom seemed unable to either read or understand the "No Fishing" signs dotted around the Wildlife Pool, have disappeared, although their discarded line, lead weights and hooks still adorn several trees. Once this, along with the discarded disposable barbecues and empty beercans, has been removed the place will be back to normal, a haven for wildlife and lovers of this LNR.
