Colour: Palais Rusca

Today's the last full day of the holiday, and the last day of the daily themed photo challenge we set to amuse ourselves. Today's theme: colour.

I got up crazy early this morning, chased out of bed by a bloodthirsty mosquito... the town was quiet, the sun was low, the mediterranean colours looked good in the morning light.

This is Palais Rusca, part of the old department of justice. In fact when we had lunch nearby yesterday, I saw a police car pull up and a couple of officers took a handcuffed youth inside, so evidently it's still in use for some kind of law enforcement activity.
