Window Into My World

Make do and mend

Our settees have seen better days. We've tried to disguise this by covering them in throws, but as they often end up skew whiff and scruffy I've had to take a different approach. So this week I made matching sofa cushions, made to measure for each seat. Not the same as getting a new settee but at least they look uniform.

With news this week that our county council proposes to close 50% of its libraries, I fear for my job. Looks like the £12 I spent on reinventing my settee was a wise investment.
