leafy bug

I was planning on capturing some lovely afternoon light on the beautiful blooms gracing the entrance to our community. But then some thunder clouds starting messing up my light!
So I started looking for some bees or bugs to make things interesting. I was amazed to find this "leafy bug" crawling along the seed head of a decorative grass. I really thought it was a small leaf at first.
Just goes to show that "desperation is the mother of invention", or in this case, the cause of new discoveries!
