At the Hoodoos
My daughter and her 5-month-old son and I traveled to the Canadian badlands. This is a unique area of Alberta where dinosaur bones have been discovered. Our family used to picnic in this area during my growing up years. We did not come home with bones or fossils, but did dig up a cactus or two (no longer be allowed) and tried to grow them at home in the garden. This area has now become quite commercialized, and is protected for historical preservation. There is a wonderful museum that delights the kids.
We stopped at the hoodoos which provided a unique photo op!
