Not only as for MissWinterFinch in NY State on the US east coast, Goldenrod seems to be a favourite at the moment for the bees and clearly a good source of pollen - see the bottom bees pollen sacks.

Some of the bees are still inspecting the site of yesterdays maleur which is also the site of a large rainwater cistern with buckets of water which they are busy drinking, no doubt in extra need of water to work the sugar paste food.
