Exports

I once heard an episode of the Food programme about the wonderful langoustines harvested in abundance from Scottish waters and how we never see them in the UK because they are exported to France. Well here they are in Fecamp fish market, lots everywhere.
We went with our hostess who bought a whole cod, a whole side of thick locally smoked salmon, a box of oysters, a monkfish liver, Dover soles, mussels and three live and kicking crab, ,more than 100 euros worth.
For our meals we had oysters at lunch time followed by mussels and chips then Dover soles in the evening.
