Better days
Apart from the jasmine, this is the only flower in the garden so it's sad that it's dying! Spring is here, though, so hopefully everything will be in bloom soon.
So. After weeks - months even - of me complaining and whinging about exhaustion and low energy, after last week's drama with hospital procedures and the side effects from the iron infusion, I am extremely pleased to tell you all that I finally feel better. So much better, in fact, that I almost bounced out of bed this morning. I had breakfast and showered and by 10:00 I was on the couch ready to watch a movie for my assignment. To put that in context, a few weeks ago I'd still be in bed at 10:00 and I'd be unlikely to be doing any work at all.
After watching the movie I went out to uni and actually got there in time for my class - a first for this semester. I also got a good parking spot, but that was just luck! When I got home, instead of switching off for the rest of the day, I watched the second movie for my assignment - a few weeks ago I would not have had the energy or the concentration to do uni work all day, especially working after getting home from uni.
It sounds a bit silly to go on about this, but the change has been pretty dramatic and it's so nice to finally feel like I can get through a day without suffering from major exhaustion. I can get things done, it's amazing. I'm so, so happy about it!
It was a lovely day today so I wandered around the garden to find something to get a photo of. I kind of like that the flower is half-dead, it makes it far more interesting. I like the colours too.
