Well, it was this or a trip to IKE-shaggin-A... (that big Swedish blue and yellow hangar with a two-mile tailback leading to it because it opened 11 days ago and Dublin has been in a flat-packed frenzy ever since).
One has to settle for the lesser evil sometimes... I'm still recovering from my trip to the recycle centre yesterday. 16 miles with two mattresses tied to the roof, and me trying to hold them down through the sunroof while driving with the other hand and actioning the wheel of the ipod with my teeth to find the song Luca was clamouring for...

At least I know now where the word whitewash comes from: you paint it white, you watch it wash all over the decking.
